One Direction: Where We Are - The Concert Film ##VERIFIED##


Initial rumours of a sequel to This Is Us surfaced in April 2014 as Horan, Malik, and Tomlinson were seen being followed by a camera crew during their visit to the Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; meanwhile Payne and Styles were also followed by a camera crew during their visit to Machu Picchu in the Cusco Region of Peru.[4] On 20 May 2014, the band announced the concert film on their official website with filming taking place by the end of June 2014 during their Where We Are Tour in San Siro Stadium in Milan, to be released on home media in December 2014.[5]

Where We Are: Live from San Siro Stadium features the entire 23 track concert filmed at San Siro Stadium in Milan in June 2014, as well as 24 minutes of bonus content including backstage footage of One Direction and their crew.


Tickets for the screenings will go on sale July 28th, 2014. More information including locations of the film screenings and other exciting reveals will be released in the coming weeks via the film website at www.1Dconcertfilm.com and on the official One Direction social channels and follow the film using the official hashtag #1DWWAFilm


Earlier today, the Brit boy band announced that their highly successful current tour will be made into a big screen feature. The One Direction: Where We Are concert film will hit cinemas this October, but only for two days!


"The world's biggest band set out on their biggest tour ever. This October, they're coming to you. One Direction: Where We Are concert film," reads the film's trailer, which shows Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik and Niall Horan performing on stage during their concert at Milan's San Siro stadium. "Get closer than ever. Be part of the phenomenon."


While the new 1D film will only be shown over one weekend, event cinema distributors Arts Alliance Ltd confirms there will be more than 10,000 screenings in over 3,000 screens across more than 50 territories, making this the biggest global concert film release ever.


'Where We Are' Live from San Siro Stadium is the second concert footage DVD from One Direction. The film takes place during the 28 and 29 June 2014 shows of the band's Where We Are Tour at San Siro Stadium in Milan, Italy. It contains a 15-minute interview with the band with exclusive behind-the-scenes footage.


On the 20th of May 2014 it was revealed on twitter[1] that the band would be "filming the entire San Siro show in Milan" during June and then releasing the DVD, 'Where We Are' Live from San Siro Stadium, in December 2014[2] The DVD would contain an entire concert from San Siro as well as exclusive content from backstage and an 'exclusive message from One Direction'. The DVD would also come with a 12 page booklet which contained 'live & backstage pictures from the tour'.On Friday 23rd of May it was available for pre-order. It was avaliable on Amazon for 11.99 with the release date written on Amazon as December 1st 2014[3]
